ATTAC Competitive Swim Programs

ATTAC offers several programs in competitive swimming beginning with Advance and Novice. The Junior and Senior programs offer a challenge for the more experienced competitors.

Our goal is to promote excellence in competitive swimming and personal growth by: 

• Providing a competitive swim program

• Promoting a high level of physical fitness

• Allowing every participating member the opportunity to achieve his or her potential

• Promoting cooperation and harmony among swimmers, parents, and coaches

• Teaching self development, leadership and sportsmanship while following the SNC and Swim Ontario ideals, principles and rules

Swim Meets

ATTAC competes throughout Southwestern Ontario in the Western Ontario Swimming Association (WOSA). Our swimmers main goal is to perform to the best of their ability, achieving personal bests and having fun. We are team focused, even though swimming tends to be an individual sport. Our team competes in the Aqua 7 League, where team building is promoted. The Aqua 7 League host small meets usually once a month in one of the following cities: Stratford, New Hamburg, Simcoe, Ancaster and St. Thomas.  Aqua 7 finals are held at the University of Guelph in May. These meets are usually at no cost to the swimmer. Swim Ontario/SNC sanctioned meets have an added cost for participation. At Team Champs, held every spring, our team travels by bus to the meet and stays together throughout the entire meet, cheering each other on to success. ATTAC has great team spirit, that is supported starting with the Executive and carried on through the coaches and the various swim levels.
